Renewable & Sustainable Ventures: Planning, Funding, and Regulatory Risk Assessment for Entrepreneurs

This MBA/graduate level practical driven course was developed over one year by Gary Schefsky and his teaching partner Nancy Younge. The original material is intended to introduce students to issues addressed by entrepreneurs and investors in renewable ventures. The content focuses on investor due diligence assessment unique to sustainable and renewables ventures, including traditional venture assessment and analysis of the regulatory environment impacting such ventures. The latter issues are often overlooked by entrepreneurs and investors. The course was taught in 2016 adjunct at the University of California at Davis Graduate School of Management program and has been renewed for 2017. We welcome inquiries for other academic institutions and as a professional seminar.
